Russell’s Story
Hi, I’m Russell Haskins, a Gas Safe qualified Heating and Gas Engineer and MCS qualified installer of Air Source Heat Pumps. I’m the founder of Russell Haskins Heating & Plumbing, a company I established in 2009 after I moved to London from my home country, South Africa.
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve built a strong and loyal client base across South West London and Surrey. Some of my customers have trusted me and my team with their homes and properties since the very beginning. That trust means a lot to me, and it’s something I work hard to earn and maintain with every job I take on.
I genuinely care for every job I take on. I’m not just here to get the work done, I want to make sure it’s done right. I take pride in delivering reliable, long-lasting solutions, and I always look for the best outcome for each customer and their home or rented property. My approach is practical, honest, and focused on building lasting relationships, not quick fixes.
I love helping people understand their options clearly and simply, so they can make informed decisions about their heating and plumbing systems. Before moving to London back in 1996, I grew up near Jeffreys Bay, South Africa, where I spent much of my youth surfing some of the world’s best waves. These days, I keep active with mountain biking, skiing, and regular sessions at the gym. And when the tools are down, I enjoy spending time with my family and travelling, most often to Italy, where my wife is from. Among friends and family, I’m also known as a bit of a barbecue master; I take as much pride in a perfectly cooked braai as I do in a perfectly running boiler.
Whether it’s keeping your boiler or running efficiently or installing a new heating system, I bring the same energy and care to every project. My goal is simple: to provide the best service possible and build lasting relationships with every customer.
